Georgia O'Keeffe and Her Contemporaries

This poster was produced for an exhibition in 1985 that celebrated Georgia O’Keeffe’s creative work on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of West Texas A&M University (WTAMU).  Georgia O’Keeffe taught at WTAMU, known at that time as West Texas Normal School, from 1916-1918.  The exhibition included works by O'Keeffe, created from 1917 to 1963, installed alongside artworks created by her contemporaries.  There was an accompanying catalogue produced for the exhibition with an essay written by the late Dr. Hunter Ingalls who was an art historian and held faculty positions at Columbia University, the University of Texas, and WTAMU.
