Amarillo Museum of Art

Welcome to the Museum School at AMoA!

Led by trained museum educators, AMoA’s Museum School classes offer in-depth art experiences that teach kids how to look at, talk about, and create art. Young artists learn techniques in drawing, painting, clay, and other media as they explore various works of art and artistic themes. This Fall session will be 10 weeks of classes that encourage students to look, ask questions, and consider a variety of methods and materials used in the making of art.

In addition to weekly classes, the schedule includes Saturday Studios, which are designed for families that prefer a one-day experience. Held monthly, each Saturday Studio is a stand-alone class that explores a specific theme. All art materials are included in tuition. Enrollment is limited so register early!

*Registration is not complete until tuition is paid in full. A limited number of scholarships are available upon request.

The museum follows Amarillo College/AISD policies with regard to public safety and weather closures.
