Floral Fancies – Rita Epp: It is a wonderful time to stop and smell the roses! In this class, we will use the flower as our muse to explore a variety of techniques and mediums, including collage, flower pressing, printmaking, watercolor, acrylic painting, and sculpture. Throughout the course, we will also examine how floral designs have shaped art history.
The Great Collage Duel: – Kegan Hollis: Step into the studios of the two giants of Modern Art! This week, we’re trading traditional sketches for scissors and glue as we explore the bold worlds of Matisse and Picasso. Students will learn how Matisse drew with scissors to create vibrant, organic shapes and how Picasso fragmented reality into Cubist puzzles. Campers will discover how these two masters used paper and found materials to change the way we see the world.
