Jeanne Reynal was an Abstract Expressionist and known for her pioneering use of mosaics as fine art. She freed the medium from being for only architectural use by creating mosaic abstract sculptures and wall pieces. Students will learn about the historical and contemporary use of mosaics and make their own mosaic sculptures.
