Achievement in Art: The Collection of Montgomery H. Ritchie

Achievement in Art: The Collection of Montgomery H. Ritchie

$15.00

This catalog was produced in conjunction with the 2017 Achievement in Art exhibition honoring the collection of Montgomery H. W. “Montie” Ritchie.  The Ritchie collection included outstanding examples of French Impressionism and post-impressionism; including works by Renoir, Monet, Sisley, Boudin, Seurat, and Degas.  Montie Ritchie was a descendant of Cornelia Adair who along with her husband John Adair founded the historic JA Ranch in the Texas Panhandle—which is now in its fifth generation of family ownership.  Montie left his art collection to the Dixon Gallery & Gardens in Memphis, Tennessee; who graciously lent it to the AMoA for this exhibition.
