 Education Programs

AMOA's art education programs bring students of all ages closer to the art all year round! Our Seeing Special Things multi-visit program introduces art to third through fifth grade students from low-income Title I schools. Our bilingual Free Family Passes are sent home with all 10,000 children who tour AMOA, so they can bring their siblings and parents back to share the excitement. At The Art School, we  design 500 classes each year for 5,000 students, offering scholarships to children and adults who could not otherwise enjoy the rewards of creative learning. The unique downtown FamilyLab provides hands-on activities for all generations to learn together, and they also create works of art every month at Second Saturdays are for Families.

Your gift is vital to help us share art education with Central Texas’ children—$1000 enables two classes from low income schools to visit the Museum four times, $500 sponsors our annual children’s art show, and $100 provides round-trip bus transportation for two classes to visit exhibitions at AMOA-Downtown.

Funds are needed for AMOA's education programs that outreach to over 10,000 students of all ages each year. You can help make it all possible.
