AMOA-Downtown serves as our principle exhibition site and presents changing exhibitions and education programs with a diverse array of twentieth century and contemporary art, including paintings, sculpture, photography, prints, and video. AMOA offers a cross section of genres, media, and ideas, from famed modern masters to fresh local talent.

Adult Tours

• Tours can be booked for groups of ten or more adults at both sites.
• Tours of AMOA-Downtown are free with Museum admission.
• Tours of AMOA-Laguna Gloria are $5 for Adults and $4 for Seniors.
• Tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance.
   

AMOA-Laguna Gloria offers a unique experience of history, art, and nature. Visitors can tour the recently restored 1916 Italianate-style villa that was the home of Texas legend Clara Driscoll. Inside they can view intimate art exhibitions. Outside they can stroll the historic gardens overlooking Lake Austin and enjoy outdoor sculpture.

Public tours of Laguna Gloria, the Driscoll Villa, and historic gardens are held every Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm.

School Tours

• Tours can be booked for groups of ten to forty children at AMOA-Downtown and ten to twenty-five children at AMOA-Laguna Gloria.
• Groups should be accompanied by one chaperone for every ten children.
• Student tour admission is $1; free for chaperones.
• Tours should be booked at least two weeks in advance.
